In partnership with Alliance City Parks, Discovery Day is filled with free outdoor activities for the whole family, from kayak try-its, to live animals, hoverball archery, and more! Kayaking Rules: Kayak Try-Its require a waiver to be signed on-site. Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a legal guardian.
Minimum age of 10 for solo kayaking. Tandem Kayak – Maximum of 2 people and one paddler must be 16+. Adults (18+) required for children under 8. (Up to 550 lbs.)
