Woodland Wildlife Encounters is joining our Summer Fest celebration! Bring your family and friends of all ages to enjoy your favorite summer activities such as music, fishing, hiking, hoverball archery and now, the opportunity to meet our wildlife ambassador animals up close and personal! Remember to bring your favorite stuffed animal for a check-up at the Stuffed Animal Hospital. Stark County Library will also be on-site with an activity. This drop-in event will take place at all three entrances of Sippo Lake Park (Off of Perry Drive, 12th Street, & Genoa Ave.). You can drive or walk to different Sippo Lake Park entrances, each offering different opportunities for fun. Visit our website for a complete list of activities. During the event hours, you can enjoy a free fifteen-minute rental of a kayak, pedal boat, or paddleboard from the Sippo Lake Park Marina. The Berkley Fishing Team will be available to help with fishing guidance, and you can borrow free live bait and fishing poles (current state fishing regulations apply). Concessions will be available for purchase at the Marina and Exploration Gateway. No pre-registration required. The Marina and boat ramp will resume with regular rentals at 3 p.m.
