Join the Stark County Beekeepers Association and Stark Parks for a day of learning all about the basics of beekeeping. Topics include bee biology, equipment needed for raising bees, what to do when your bees finally arrive and how to track their progress in their new home. The course fee includes support materials and a beginning beekeeping book by Keith Delaplane, a globally recognized honeybee authority. Morning snacks and lunch will be provided.

Local beekeepers and vendors will be available to answer questions and to help you make your first beekeeping purchases.
